Pasqualino was wearing a collar that had cut deep into his neck. The bloody wound was so heavy that he could only free himself by lubricating the blood — he had practically been hanged. He was rescued and cared for. His story shows how cruel neglected or wrongly applied collars can be — and why quick help and care on the spotare essential for survival. Note: The photo shows the injury and is incriminating.
